I’m not new to butt plugs, but I’m still quite a beginner when it comes to anal stuff. It’s not something I indulge in too often, but when I do, I like my plugs and dildos small. I can’t quite seem to enjoy the really full feeling that I experience that I get from anything bigger than 5 inches in length and 4 inches in circumference.
When I was approached by the lovely So Divine who asked if I would be interested in reviewing the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had seen the plug on their site, but had no idea what it was like in person. I thought the butt plug would be of medium-ish size, but when it arrived, I was thrilled that it was petite.
The So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug comes in tasteful packaging and has a velvet storage bag, hoorah! When first taken out of the box and in your hand, you can really see how cute and petite the plug is. The silicone is silky smooth, seamless and doesn’t attract dust and lint.
I love the almond shape of the booty plug, a tapered tip means it’s easy to insert with gradual girth that then slims down to a stem and the round base with the blingy clear crystal. The stem is really flexible, so great to use for longer periods of time……there is something rather erotic, going about your day whilst wearing a butt plug.
The size of the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug measures up as 3 inches in length, 2.5 inches insertable length and a petite circumference of 4 inches. It’s relatively light, especially compared to my glass plugs. Perfect for beginners. The round, flared base with the crystal, is not only pleasing to the eye, but is also there for safety. This is of utmost importance when it comes to anal play with any plugs or dildos. The last thing you need, is for the plug to disappear inside you and having to have an embarrassing trip to the hospital. The base on this plug is 1.5 inches wide and I feel safe that it is anchored in place and suitable for me to wear for prolonged periods.
Another great importance is that the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug is made from silicone, meaning that is free from latex, phthalates, so is completely body safe. Last thing you need is something made of rubber/PVC/TPR/jelly as these products are porus and harbour bacteria like you’ll never know, even with deep cleaning. All of So Divine’s sex toys are body safe……much kudos for this.
The blingy crystal in the base isn’t ‘set’ into the plug. You’ll find that it is easily removable as you can pop it out, which is great for when it comes to cleaning around the rim of where the crystal belongs. Unfortunately, due to the sheer size of my booty, it engulfs the crystal, so the only way to surprise my partner, was to bend and spread. Not entirely flattering, but we had a good giggle. I did feel slightly more feminine wearing the bling plug.
When it comes to using the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug, a good, anal waterbased lube is recommended. Silicone lube may react to the silicone of the plug unfortunately, which is a bug bear of mine, as I prefer to use silicone lube for any anal play. The booty plug is super easy to insert and the silicone is more forgiving compared to my glass plugs.
I’ve found, on insertion I don’t get the momentary gasp that I do with my glass plugs. No stretch or ‘pop’ as my sphincter engulfs the plug. My anus is quite comfortable in accepting this plug. Dare I say, I think I could comfortably accept a larger size? The base feels very comfortable, especially when sat down. Thanks to the flared base, I feel assured that the plug won’t travel into my rectum. A huge bonus is the fact that it doesn’t dig into my ample derriere! Usually I find T-bar shaped bases are far more comfortable for me to wear for prolonged periods, but the smooth silicone and flexibility mean that I barely know that the plug is there.
Usually, I won’t indulge in sex or vaginal play with a dildo whilst wearing a plug. I tend to have an overwhelming full feeling which I find uncomfortable, no matter how aroused I am. However, with the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug, I was able to do both! The bulb of the plug gave a slight swell and tightening to my vagina, which was actually enjoyable for myself and indeed my partner.
Overall, I think the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug is perfect for beginners with its petite size and user friendly design. It’s also a good warm up plug, working towards a medium plug. It works well as a warm up to anal sex or penetration with a dildo. If your body is as petite as the plug, you’ll dazzle your partner. As a very plus size lady, I need to spread my derriere to give a glance of the crystal.
For £13.99, the Sweet Sensation Booty plug is a great price. I’d certainly recommend it if you’re looking into exploring anal play.
I was sent the So Divine Sweet Sensation Booty Plug in exchange for an unbiased, honest review. This does not affect my opinion.
I’m thrilled to introduce to you the Fun Factory B Ball Silicone Beginners Butt Plug with Jiggle ball. It was sent to me from Lovehoney in exchange of my honest review* and opinion.
I was a bit sceptical as to whether a butt plug with a jiggle ball would work, as I often find vaginal jiggle balls to be somewhat unresponsive inside me. I have also been neglecting anal play for over 18 months due to suffering with Cauda Equina syndrome and having to have three major spine operations, so starting back with beginners toys was ideal.
Fun Factory has become one of my favourite retailers. I love the quirky designs of toys. I like how the B Ball Silicone Beginner’s Butt Plug with Jiggle Ball is aimed at all genders, rather than an overly masculine or feminine in regards to the packaging and colour of the butt plug.
How it measures up:
A rather petite sizing, here are the dimensions:
- Length: 3 inches
- Insertable Length: 2.75 inches
- Circumference: 4 inches
- Base diameter: 3.25
- Base type: Flared
The butt plug is made of silicone and ABS plastic. It is body safe and non-porous, so you can guarantee that it won’t harbour any bacteria or cause any reaction to your body as it’s phthalate free. The T-bar is a good safety feature. It anchors the plug, so it won’t disappear and is far more comfortable to wear than a circular base, so if you like to wear for prolonged periods of time, you won’t become too uncomfortable.
The plug doesn’t have much of a taper to it due to its round shape, so real beginners may find it a little difficult to insert, so I’d recommend this plug to those who have explored with fingers and other beginners plugs.
How did it feel in use?
Well, firstly I used plenty of water-based lube (don’t use silicone, it may react on the plug), and inserting was relatively easy considering I hadn’t played anally in a long time. The T-bar is very comfortable, meaning I can wear this plug for hours. I tend to struggle to sit with round bases, so this is ideal.
The plug feels very firm inside me, which can take a bit of getting used to. You can really feel the roaming ball move whilst you’re walking and it teasingly brings your nerve endings alive, this then sends a tingle to my clitoris, so it is very arousing. I can imagine being out in public, that it would give you a naughty smirk whilst shopping!
I had the plug in place during a solo masturbation session. Now, I always tend to struggle with double penetration with toys. This plug was no different. I used my L’Amourose Denia at first. My vaginal canal seemed to have narrowed, but I managed to get it in.
With the plug also in place, there was some added pressure to my G-Spot with the Denia, which felt awesome, apart from the plug seemed to feel hard and uncomfortable, so I added extra lube.
I continued with ramping up my Denia to full speed. The vibrations from this made the jiggle ball vibrate too, but I couldn’t climax as the plug began to feel more uncomfortable again. Too much pressure, it began to hurt. Once removing the Denia, it felt much better. I tried a slim dildo, the Tantus Acute and that felt much better and much like having penetrative sex.
I’d have liked the plug to be less rigid, but maybe it’s my anatomy. DP may not be right for me. It is fantastic to wear for long periods, especially whilst doing household chores, or going shopping. It can really brighten up a gloomy day!
Having your nerve endings stimulated whilst wearing this is arousing, so clitoral play whilst wearing the Fun Factory B Ball Silicone Beginner’s Butt Plug with Jiggle Ball is definitely orgasmic for me.
A booty bargain with great sensations, recommended for beginners who have experimented with other plugs. It’s easy to use without necessarily douching beforehand, it still came out clean for me. Give it a thorough wash with warm soapy water and spritz with a sex toy cleaner, taking extra care in the crevices. I use a nail brush to get into those pesky places.
I’d rate the Fun Factory B Ball Silicone Beginners Butt Plug with Jiggle ball a 10/10.

Tracey Cox Supersex Glass Butt Plug Set
I already own the Tracey Cox Supersex glass dildos, so was thrilled to receive the Glass Butt Plug Set from Lovehoney in exchange for an honest review. I already owned the Supersex glass Dildos and these are equally as divine and great for beginners.
The packaging which the butt plugs come in is classy, non-offensive and couple friendly. Inside there are two velvet storage pouches, a smaller one for the clear plug and a longer one for the black plug, which also fits the clear plug in its pouch, so they can be stored together safely.
The butt plugs are unisex and I like how the colour choice reflects that. No garish pink or purple, but a more gender neutral black and clear, more acceptable for male users.
Both plugs are great for beginners and intermediate users, are made of a strong borosilicate glass, that is hard-wearing and safe as it won’t snap or splinter. Glass is compatible with all lubes. The tapered ends means the glass is easy to insert too. Glass is very hygienic and easy to clean with a good sex toy cleaner or antibacterial spray and warm water.
The black plug is designed for the P-spot. It has a circumference of 4 inches and an insertable length of 4.75 inches. The finger loop helps to stop the plug from disappearing, but can be used to explore different sensations and angles, pulling out/pushing in, or used to twist and rock. The same can be done vaginally to explore the G-spot. It is easy to reach down to manoeuvre the plug. Anally it gives a full feeling (as a beginner), but not an uncomfortable stretched feeling, which I have had with a previous glass plug.
The clear plug has a flared base for safety and is a beaded design, that is great to keep in your bottom whilst having sex, or for those who are just starting out with anal play for the first time and using the plug to stretch you a little. It is comfortable to wear whilst lay in bed reading or watching TV. Sitting on the plug was a little too uncomfortable at first, but I have got used to the firmness of the glass and have even been out for a drive whilst wearing it!
As with all glass toys, they are great for temperature play. Pop them in the fridge to discover those chilled sensations, or warm up in a bowl of warm water (caution: don’t use boiling water), for warmer sensations.
I have yet to try these plugs on my partner, in time I hope I will, we haven’t really explored anal play with him yet. Until we do, I will continue to use the black one as a G-spot dildo as the curve on the tip is perfect for me.
I would recommend the Tracey Cox Supersex Glass Butt Plug Set to couples who like to explore together, the black dildo is great for a partner to use on you. Also men or ladies who have started to discover the joys of anal play and wish to try a different material and to explore temperature play. 10/10
Fifty Shades of Grey Pleasure Intensified Silicone Anal Beads
I have owned anal beads in the past, but ditched them when I became wise to jelly toys not being body friendly. I hadn’t had the chance to replaced them, until I saw the Fifty Shades of Grey Pleasure Intensified Anal Beads at Lovehoney, one of my favourite retailers.
I have quite a collection of the FSOG range, so I was expecting the luxurious packaging as you get with all their products and the beads where no different.
Hooray for the satin storage bag, I love that I can store these with my other toys, knowing they’ll be dust free and won’t react with any of my other silicone toys, unlike jelly and rubber products that can melt when stored together, not to mention how they harbour bacteria, so aren’t body safe.
The beads are deep smoky grey , a great colour and unisex. I get bored of seeing pink sex toys, these look far more elegant. I love how smooth, silky and sensuous the silicone feels. There is a seam along both sides, but it’s barely noticeable and not issue for me. I liked the FSOG stamp on the largest bead.
Unlike your typical anal beads, these are more oval in shape, rather than round balls. For me, this makes them much easier to insert, but you do still experience a slight pop as you ease each bead in. It’s a satisfying pop and great when you slide them in and out.
The beads are very flexible, especially the first three. With lube on, they are a little fiddly to insert. I found it easier having a helping hand. A beginner would be able to enjoy these first few beads, and you don’t necessarily need to insert them all.
Due to the beads being so flexible, once all inside, they fitted to the contours of my anal canal. They are comfortable and don’t give a huge fullness. They are comfortable to wear during solo play or playing with a partner.
When having a partner involved, it’s easier for that person to pull on the handle to remove the beads as you climax. I got a more powerful, longer-lasting orgasm.
These beads are body safe, hypoallergenic, phthalate free and easy to clean. Give them a good wash with warm soapy water (I spritz with sex toy cleaner too), then pat dry and store them safely in their satin bag.
It is recommended to use a good water-based lube. Silicone lube or anything oil-based will react to the silicone.
Are they value for money? Absolutely. They are wonderful for beginners and experienced anal players alike. The quality is fantastic, even the seam on the sides add a bit of texture! I’d recommend these to anybody.
Throw out your jelly beads and purchase these, you won’t regret it.
